Alex came to Houston in 2008 and has worked with small business for the last 3 years. He attended Tulane University on an Army scholarship and graduated with a BSM in Marketing in 2008. He served in the Louisiana National Guard as a Lieutenant in the Artillery and Platoon Leader where he learned land navigation, personnel management and ballistic negotiation.
Alex has always favored the personal feel and individual experience that customers receive from small business. Having worked for a large national telecom corporation where clients were files not individuals, he was interested in finding a small business the encompassed a culture of valuing its individual clients. Alex established a professional relationship with Eduardo Adame through BNI and was drawn to HomeStart because of its reputation of integrity and character. Upon meeting with Daniel Jara, it was immediately apparent that they all shared a common work ethic. He chose to partner with HSC because of its boutique feel and focus on each customer as if they were a family member. Alex sees the growth potential within HSC and was eager to get in on the ground floor, as they begin to expand, relocate to a larger office and bring on more producers.
As HomeStart’s branch manager his focus has always been customer relations and ensuring that each client is properly taken care of and satisfied. From retail to business to business sales, Alex has treated the customer’s experience as a reflection on himself. He strives to ensure that every client receives exactly what they need and strives for not just a transaction, but an overall experience that keeps people coming back.
